Episode 7 Show Notes
Hillary Clinton gave a list of excuses and conspiracy theories for why she lost to Donald Trump yesterday at a symposium. In so doing, she once again insulted the deplorables. You know, those hard-working, financially struggling, just trying to make it Americans who were stupid enough to be sucked in by Trump.
She said we are gullible and were played be a complex data mining operation that created fake news on Facebook… and so much more.
Let me break down for you what she said.
- Her email and server scandal was the “biggest nothing burger” ever.
- The New York Times was to blame for “covering it (email and server scandal) like it was Pearl Harbor.
- Macedonians hacked the emails, created fake news, and posted it all over Facebook.
- James Comey brought it all up again in October 2016 after it was put to bed in July 2016.
- She “inherited nothing from the Democratic Party. It was bankrupt and on the verge of insolvency. Its data was mediocre to poor, wrong… I had to put money into it.”
- He (Donald Trump) really understands how to inflame people, bond with them… over whatever their grievance is, whatever their resentment is, or point of anger that you may have… Race, sex, xenophobia, anti-islamophobia… whatever it is.”
My Thoughts on Her Deplorable Acceptance of Responsibility
She blamed everyone and everything. She took credit responsibility for being the candidate while abdicating the consequences of previous and current actions and behaviors.
According to the media, she was supposed to be running the most complex data driven campaign in history and have the best ground game ever. Yet, she lost to a candidate was supposedly winging it.
Did the people in PA, OH, MI, or WI care about those things?
How would she know? She ignored Michigan and Wisconsin and only occasionally entertained Pennsylvania and Ohio. At the same time, the rallies for Trump in those states who massive.
The list of things above she threw out did not decide the election. All those things did was reinforce what many, even some Democrats, already believed about her…. She’s power-hungry and opportunistic and will do anything to win. Even if that means rigging the primary against Bernie Sanders and openly lying during the campaign about the email and server.
Add to the list that she openly called Trump supporters deporables. That only brought Trump’s base closer in and at the same time increased it.
Yesterday, she did it again!
Hillary Clinton said that Trump touches the underbelly of America and in doing so insulted us again. She (and the liberals and elite) genuinely believe that we have to be stupid to be sucked in by him.
Why Did Hillary Clinton Really Lose to Donald Trump?
Hillary Clinton lost not because of the reason she claims she lost. Could it be that after eight years of President Obama parts of the country felt betrayed and left behind by his rhetoric and policies?
For eight years we were divided by name calling, racial issues and policies that brought us further apart than brought us closer together.
The economy stunk. President Obama is the first President in the history of the United States to have never experienced a 3% growth in GDP. In fact, his last year in office it hovered around 1% growth.
What unites us more than any other issue is the opportunity to pursue and experience our dreams… whatever those dreams may be.
Thanks to trade deficits and unfair trade policies people were losing jobs. Thanks to anemic economic growth people were losing jobs and entrepreneurs were setting the worst pace in history for starting new businesses. Guess who fuels the economy? Entrepreneurs and small business.
While the Democrats and Hillary Clinton were talking about identity politics, Donald Trump was talking about jobs and the economy.
Hillary Clinton wonders why she lost?
She knows, she just can’t get herself to admit it. She is the greatest sore loser in American political history. Her vision of a more liberal society was soundly rejected.
But that doesn’t matter because it was everything else that caused her to lose (as well as every other Democrat across the country in state legislatures and governorships).
